Pizza Smash Tacos with Meal Boosters White Cheddar

This is the dinner that happens when pizza night and taco night stop fighting and just become the same thing. Seasoned ground chicken gets smashed onto tortillas, cooked until crispy, then loaded with turkey pepperoni, roasted garlic, warm tomatoes, and avocado. A scoop of Meal Boosters White Cheddar adds a cheesy collagen boost without the extra fat of piling on shredded cheese. The whole thing takes about 15 minutes and uses one skillet.
If you've made smash burger tacos before, this is the same idea with a pizza twist. Pizza Smash Tacos
Ingredients
Chicken Base
- 4 oz ground chicken
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (or dried oregano and basil)
- Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Tacos & Toppings
- 2 small flour tortillas
- 1 scoop Meal Boosters White Cheddar
- 4–6 slices turkey pepperoni
- 1 tbsp roasted garlic
- 1/4 cup cooked tomatoes (cherry or diced, warmed)
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- In a small bowl, season the ground chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
- Divide the seasoned chicken in half. Use a fork to spread about 2 oz of ground chicken evenly onto each tortilla in a thin layer.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place tortillas chicken-side down and cook for about 4 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked through and lightly browned with crispy edges.
- Remove the tortillas from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, warm your turkey pepperoni, cooked tomatoes, and roasted garlic for 1–2 minutes to bring out the flavors.
- Sprinkle Meal Boosters White Cheddar over the chicken side of each tortilla. Top with the warmed pizza toppings and sliced avocado. Fold and enjoy.
Notes & Swaps
Flavor swap: Meal Boosters Parmesan works great here too, especially if you want a sharper, more Italian-leaning flavor. Both give you the same collagen protein boost.
Seasoning shortcut: If you have a pizza-style seasoning blend (like Flavor God Pizza Seasoning), use about 1 tsp instead of the individual spices.
Make it saucier: Drizzle a little warm marinara on top before folding if you want that classic pizza-dip experience.
Double it: This recipe scales easily. Double everything for two servings and cook in batches.
