THE QUESTIONS EVERYONE ASKS.

What Does Mega Mac Taste Like?

It depends on which flavor you pick, and both are made with real aged cheese so they taste like the real thing. No artificial cheese tang, no chemical aftertaste, and no dyes. Cheesy Cheese tastes exactly like the classic mac and cheese kids already love, just better. Creamy and savory with that familiar comfort-food flavor. It tastes like the mac you grew up on, made the way you wish it had been. White Cheddar is smooth and savory with a little more depth than a classic yellow mac. Rich and creamy without being sharp or overpowering. Grown-up enough for parents and still mild enough that kids ask for seconds.

How Is Mega Mac Different From Kraft Or Annie’s?

The biggest difference is protein and quality. A standard box gives you around 8 to 9g of protein per serving. Mega Mac gives you 20g, from real aged cheese and organic grass-fed collagen. We also use bronze-cut Italian pasta made from glyphosate-free durum wheat semolina instead of generic noodles, and we skip the artificial dyes and fillers found in most conventional boxes. Same comfort and convenience, a real step up in nutrition and ingredients.

How Is Mega Mac Different From Other High-Protein Mac And Cheese Brands?

Most high-protein mac brands get their protein by changing the pasta itself, using protein-fortified or alternative-flour noodles that can come out chalky, mushy, or just off compared to the real thing. We took a different path. Mega Mac keeps real bronze-cut Italian pasta made from durum wheat semolina, exactly the pasta you actually want, and builds the protein into the cheese sauce with real aged cheese and organic grass-fed collagen. You get 20g of protein per serving without sacrificing the taste and texture that make mac and cheese worth eating in the first place.

How Much Protein Is In Mega Mac?

Both flavors deliver real protein at 295 calories per serving, with far more protein than standard boxed mac and cheese, which usually lands around 8 to 9g. Cheesy Cheese: 21g of protein, 46g of carbs, 2g of fiber, 4g of sugar (0g added), and 500mg of sodium. White Cheddar: 20g of protein, 44g of carbs, 2g of fiber, 2g of sugar (0g added), and 500mg of sodium. It's one of the easiest ways to get real protein into a meal your kids will actually finish.

Why Italian Flour Pasta Instead Of Regular Wheat Pasta?

Because the pasta matters as much as the cheese. We use bronze-cut Italian fusillini made from glyphosate-free durum wheat semolina. Bronze-cut means the pasta is pushed through traditional bronze dies, which gives it a rougher, more textured surface so the cheese sauce actually clings to every piece instead of sliding off. Durum wheat semolina holds its bite better than generic soft wheat pasta, so it doesn’t turn to mush. It’s a noticeable upgrade in both taste and texture over what’s in a standard box.

Is Mega Mac Gluten Free?

No. Mega Mac is made with real Italian durum wheat pasta, so it contains gluten. We chose quality bronze-cut pasta over a gluten-free substitute to keep the taste and texture families expect from real mac and cheese.

What Allergens Should I Know About?

Mega Mac contains dairy from the real aged cheese in our Boosted powder and wheat from the pasta, so it is not gluten free. It does not contain nuts, soy, or egg. This is true for both flavors. If you have a specific allergy or sensitivity, our full ingredient list is available on the Nutritional Facts panel above and we're always happy to answer questions directly.

Where Does The Protein Come From?

Two clean sources. Real aged cheese in our Boosted powder provides natural whey protein and flavor, and organic grass-fed collagen (types 1 and 3) is blended into the same powder for clean, high-quality protein in every serving. No protein isolates that change the taste, no chalky aftertaste. Just real ingredients doing the work.

Are Mega Mac Ingredients Tested For Heavy Metals?

Yes. Our pasta and our Boosted cheese powder are both tested for heavy metals like lead. Grains and dairy can pick up trace contaminants from the soil and water they come from, so we test to make sure what ends up on your family’s plate is clean. It’s one more reason Mega Mac belongs in a different category than standard boxed mac.

Is Mega Mac Good For Picky Eaters?

That’s exactly who it’s built for. Mega Mac tastes like the mac and cheese kids already ask for, so there’s no negotiating, no hiding vegetables, and no “what is this” at the dinner table. The protein and clean ingredients are built in, so you get the nutrition without changing the meal they love.

How Do I Make It?

It’s ready in about 10 minutes. Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente, around 6 to 7 minutes, then drain and set aside about 2 tablespoons of the pasta water. Whisk the Boosted cheese powder into that reserved water until it becomes a smooth, creamy sauce, then stir it through the pasta. You can stir the powder straight into the pasta if you prefer, but making the sauce first gives you the creamiest texture. Add a splash of milk or a pat of butter if you want it richer.

How Many Servings Are In A Box And How Is It Sold?

Each box makes 3 servings (6oz of pasta plus one cheese sachet). Mega Mac is sold in 3-packs, 6-packs, and 12-packs so you can stock up at a better price per kit. Subscribe and save keeps you stocked on a regular cadence so you never run out on a busy week.

Can I Add To It Or Make It Heartier?

Absolutely. Mega Mac is a great base. Stir in broccoli or peas, add ground beef or shredded chicken, or top it with anything your family likes. It’s an easy way to turn one box into a full, balanced dinner.
