Boosted Nachos with Taco Boosters & Muscle Boosters Cheesy Cheese

by Shelby Lobitz 19 May 2026
Nachos are already a win. These are better. The ground beef gets seasoned with Taco Boosters right in the pan — three scoops per half pound — which means every bite of meat is punchy, savory, and actually seasoned all the way through. The queso is made from scratch using Muscle Boosters Cheesy Cheese: three scoops mixed with a little hot water at a time until it's thick, smooth, and ready to drizzle over the whole thing. One serving clocks 53g of protein. Make these for game night, a lazy Friday dinner, or honestly just because nachos are a valid meal.

Boosted Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb 93% lean ground beef
  • 6 scoops Taco Boosters (3 scoops per ½ lb of meat)
  • 3 scoops Muscle Boosters Cheesy Cheese
  • Hot water, added gradually (for the queso)
  • 12 oz tortilla chips
  • Jalapeños, sliced
  • Sour cream
  • Salsa
  • Fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up as you go, until no pink remains — about 7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the Taco Boosters directly to the meat (3 scoops per ½ lb). Stir to coat evenly and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, add 3 scoops of Muscle Boosters Cheesy Cheese. Add hot water a little at a time — a tablespoon or so — stirring constantly between each pour. Keep going until you hit a thick, smooth, pourable cheese sauce. Don't rush the water; go slow and you'll nail the texture.
  4. Spread the tortilla chips in a single layer on a large plate or sheet pan. Top evenly with the seasoned meat.
  5. Drizzle the queso generously over everything. Finish with jalapeños, sour cream, salsa, and cilantro. Serve immediately.
53g Protein per serving

Notes

Taco Boosters ratio: Always 3 scoops per ½ lb of meat. Scale up or down depending on how much you're making.

Queso tip: Add the hot water slowly — a splash at a time — and stir fully before adding more. You're going for thick and scoopable, not runny. If it tightens up as it sits, add a tiny splash more water and stir again.

Flavor swap: Muscle Boosters Cheesy Cheese makes a bold, cheddar-forward queso. If you want something a bit milder, Meal Boosters White Cheddar works great here too.

Make it a spread: Set out extra toppings — diced white onion, guacamole, lime wedges, hot sauce — and let everyone build their own plate.
